MEP was appointed to design and deliver a nine-day programme across Greece and Türkiye for a private global association, bringing together approximately 250 participants, including both adults and children.
The programme combined a fully chartered luxury cruise with immersive land-based experiences, designed to foster connection, shared learning, and meaningful experiences across generations.

The client’s primary objective was to create a programme that brought members and their families together in a way that felt both engaging and purposeful.
Key priorities included:

The programme presented several layers of complexity, beginning with a key structural decision: identifying and securing the right cruise vessel for a full charter.
This was not an area MEP had previously operated in directly, requiring a rapid understanding of a new operational layer, alongside the evaluation of vessel options, routes, and technical requirements.
In parallel, the programme required coordination across multiple countries, destinations, and audience types — combining cruise operations with land-based experiences into a single, cohesive journey.
Designing for a multi-generational audience added further complexity, requiring experiences that could engage both adults and children without compromising the overall quality or flow of the programme.

Rather than treating the cruise element as a limitation, MEP leveraged one of its core strengths — its global network of trusted industry partners.
Through long-standing relationships with international operators and specialists, we were able to quickly access the right expertise, validate key decisions, and identify the most suitable vessel for the programme.
At the same time, the programme was structured around a clear narrative — “Aegean Odyssey” — designed to create a sense of shared journey and progression.
This was supported by:

Execution required continuous coordination across cruise and land-based operations, with a strong on-site presence throughout the programme.
In Greece, the programme included a combination of cultural exploration, island-based experiences, and more relaxed lifestyle moments, allowing guests to engage at their own pace.
In Türkiye, the experience deepened through historical and cultural elements, combined with immersive events and shared experiences designed to bring the group together.
Operating from the cruise required full-time, real-time oversight — managing guest expectations, coordinating suppliers, and adapting to changes as they arose.
Despite the scale and complexity, the programme maintained a consistent rhythm, allowing participants to fully engage with each moment.

The programme was delivered successfully across all key objectives.
