At MEP, we believe the most meaningful CSR activities are those that create a genuine connection between participants and the communities they visit.
Working alongside the Contemporary Life Support Association (ÇYDD), one of Türkiye's leading educational NGOs, we designed a CSR-driven team experience that transformed a traditional city challenge into a project with a lasting legacy.
What began as a day of discovery through Istanbul ultimately resulted in educational support for students in underserved communities across Türkiye.

Many corporate CSR activities generate donations, but few create a personal connection between participants and the people they are supporting.
Our objective was to design an experience that combined exploration, teamwork, and meaningful social impact—while allowing participants to become active contributors rather than passive donors.
The activity needed to feel authentic, engaging, and relevant to both the destination and the beneficiaries.
In partnership with ÇYDD, we identified schools requiring educational support and built the activity around their needs.
Participants were divided into teams and sent across different districts of Istanbul, completing challenges inspired by the city's history, culture, and daily life. Throughout the day, teams earned points and resources that would ultimately contribute to a larger educational initiative.
The CSR component remained hidden from participants until the conclusion of the programme.
Back at the hotel, teams discovered that their collective efforts would fund educational materials for students supported by ÇYDD. Together, they assembled and personalized school supplies, backpacks, and learning materials that would later be delivered directly to the selected schools.
The moment transformed a competitive team-building exercise into a shared achievement with tangible human impact.

The programme successfully combined destination discovery, employee engagement, and meaningful community support.
Hundreds of educational materials were prepared and delivered to students in need, while participants left with a deeper understanding of both Türkiye and the positive impact their actions could create.
Rather than ending when the event concluded, the experience continued through the students who would use those supplies throughout the academic year.
For MEP, CSR is most powerful when it creates a connection rather than simply a donation.
Through our long-standing partnerships with organisations such as ÇYDD, we help clients create programmes that engage participants before they travel, involve them throughout the experience, and leave behind a meaningful legacy long after they return home.
Because the most memorable events are often the ones that improve someone else's future.
