Brief
Hosting 1000 potential buyers and media for the launch of a new machinery by the world’s leading heavy-duty vehicle builder.
Challenge
1000 international guests were flying into Antalya, all of them through Istanbul, from the EMEA Region. The cultural differences aside, the product launch needed a massive empty lot to be built to host the guests and large enough Gala Dinner venue would have to be found in a city that isn’t used to hosting this scale of events.
Solution
MEP Staff were stationed in Antalya early on working with the local suppliers. A large empty lot was found outside of the city and with HSSE concerns in mind spectator and hospitality areas were built. A historic “caravanserai”, which are hotels from the Silk Road, was renovated into a world-class venue.
